Rotations
Rotations (or turns) are used in math. You use a degree (90, 180, 270, 360) of the turn and a direction (clockwise or counterclockwise). So one way you could put it is 180 degrees ccw (counter clockwise) or you could say 180 degrees cw (clockwise). They mean the same thing.

What Is Cartography?
Cartography is defined by the dictionary as: the science or practice of drawing maps. Cartography is defined by the Canadian Cartography Association as: the discipline dealing with the conception, production, dissemination and study of maps. But cartography is so much more than that. It is an academic discipline in its own right. It has its own professional associations, journals, educational programs, conferences, and its own identity. Cartography is a community, a group of people who create maps, and distribute maps. Cartography is a job, a class, a hobby, or an art.

Integers
Integers are positive and negative numbers like: -2 and +2 those are what you would call opposite numbers. Zero isn't a positive or negotiate number its neutral by: Breanna
Integers
Integers are positive and negative numbers. If you have these five integers, -32, -52, +6, -12, +3 and you need to order them from least to greatest, you would start with the negative numbers. -52 is farthest from zero, so it is the smallest. -32 is the second smallest and -12 is the third smallest. Then you need to order the positive numbers, and +3 is smaller than +6 so you order them -52, -32, -12, +3, +6.

Writing Fractions as Decimals
To write a fraction as a decimal you must put it over a denominator that is a power of 10. For example, 1/5 = 0.2 because 1/5 = 2/10.
Try to write 5/20, 1/4, and 6/10 as decimals.
If, however, you are unable to put the number over a denominator that is a power of 10, you must divide the numerator by the denominator.7/8 doesn't evenly go into a power of 10 so you must divide 7 by 8 and your answer is then 0.875. If you have a mixed number like 4 3/9 you carry over the_whole number and divide if you have to, then this number becomes 4.3 (this uses bar notation to describe a repeating decimal.
