Rotations (or turns) are used in math. You use a degree (90, 180, 270, 360) of the turn and a direction (clockwise or counterclockwise). So one way you could put it is 180 degrees ccw (counter clockwise)   or you could say 180 degrees cw (clockwise). They mean the same thing.
