North American Free Trade Agreement

 Did you know the North American Free Trade Agreement is an agreement between Canada, USA and Mexico?  The 4 points of the agreement are:
1. To eliminate barriers to trade and speed the movement of goods across borders.
2.  To increase investment opportunities.
3. To create procedures to resolve disputes quickly.
4.  To look for ways to expand the benefits of the agreement, including bringing other countries into it.

Stations and Conductors

Did you know that on the Underground Railroad, that Stations were a home for the slaves to hide and be taken care of. Conductors were people who helped the slaves to Freedom and owned the stations. The conductors also gave directions for the next locations and stops for the slaves to follow.

Did you know that the tertiary industries are personal and business services that help you use and enjoy manufactured goods.  Some examples of these services are: retail sales, hair salons and car repair shops.  Some people believe that this category should be divided into 2 separate categories - tertiary industries  (retail and services) and quaternary industries (information and ideas).
